PROFILE OF H.E. PAUL EVANS AIDOO
His Excellency Mr. Paul Evans Aidoo is the High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Kenya with concurrent accreditation to Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania. He formally assumed duty on 1st December, 2025 following presentation of his Letters of Credence to H.E. President William Samoei Ruto. He is also the Permanent Representative of Ghana to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
H.E. Mr. Paul Evans Aidoo was born on 4th August 1958 at Sefwi-Ewiase in the Sefwi-Wiawso District of the Western-North Region of Ghana. He is a former legislature and has served Ghana in multiple capacities as a Regional Minister for Brong-Ahafo and Western Regions. He also served as a District Chief Executive for the Sefwi Wiawso District Assembly. H.E. Aidoo attained both his Master’s Degree in Development Management and Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He is a trained teacher with Teachers’ Certificate ‘A’.
He is married with six children.
