GHANA AND RWANDA ON THE MARGINS OF CHOGM 2022

            Within the context of strengthening the bilateral relations between Ghana and Rwanda, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to Kenya with concurrent accreditation to Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania, H.E. Damptey B. Asare presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Rwanda on 23rd June 2022.  

  1. A Memorandum of Understanding between the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority (Rwanda FDA) and the Ghana Foods and Drugs Authority (Ghana FDA) was signed on 24th June 2022 to ensure that the two countries collaborate in areas of mutual interest, especially in the processes and procedures of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT), to provide technical assistance related to the regulation of medicines and vaccines.
  2. Additionally, the Foreign Ministers of Rwanda and Ghana met to discuss issues which will promote the friendly and cordial relations between the two countries as well as explore potential areas of cooperation for our mutual benefits. Click here for some photos.
