H.E. Damptey B. Asare Visits Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

On 20th March 2022, Ghana’s High Commissioner, H.E. Damptey B. Asare visited Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to participate in a ceremony organised in honour of the outgoing Honorary Consul of Ghana in the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Ken Kwaku to mark the end of his official duties as Honorary Consul after 14 years of service to the Government and people of Ghana in Tanzania. H.E. Damptey Asare is concurrently accredited to Tanzania.

The High Commissioner, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, presented Dr. Kwaku with a gift and citation signed by the Honourable Minister and thanked him for his good work and dedication towards the people of Ghana over the years.

The event was attended by Dr. Kwaku’s friends, former colleagues, a cross section of the Ghanaian Community in Tanzania and other dignitaries including the former First Lady of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mama Anna Mkapa.
