H.E. PAUL EVANS AIDOO HOSTS BBC NEWS FOCUS ON AFRICA JOURNALISTS AT THE CHANCERY

NAIROBI, 2nd January, 2026 — His Excellency Paul Evans Aidoo, High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to Kenya, received Ghanaian journalists Mr. Daniel Dadzie and Mr. Godwin Asadiba at the Chancery during a courtesy call. The visit follows the strategic relocation of BBC News Focus on Africa’s operations to Nairobi. During the engagement, the High Commissioner extended his congratulations to Mr. Asadiba on his transition to the BBC and his prestigious win of the 2025 BBC News Africa Komla Dumor Award. His Excellency commended both journalists for their professional excellence, urging them to maintain high journalistic standards and endeavour to project a positive image of Ghana through their work. Reaffirming the Mission’s mandate, H.E. Paul Aidoo emphasized the High Commission’s commitment to the welfare of the Ghanaian diaspora in Kenya and encouraged the journalists to remain actively engaged with the Mission’s initiatives.
